With a personnel referral system, the company making the referrals recommends candidates that it considers eligible to a company that is advertising for personnel. These candidates are then screened by the company, following which an employment contract will be concluded between the company and the staff member they wish to hire.
Temp-to-fulltime referrals combine elements of both temporary staffing and personnel referral services, which means that a recommended member of staff will conclude a direct contract of employment with the company at which he/she has been working on a temporary basis for a period of several months.
