Fee Structure for Interpreting Services

Fees for interpreting services are charged on a half-day or full-day basis. We do not offer an hourly rate and you will accordingly be charged for half a day, even if you only require two hours of interpreting.
Half-day assignment: Up to four hours in the morning (up to midday) or afternoon (13:00 onwards)
Full-day assignment: Up to eight hours (including a 1-hour break)

Working hours for half-day assignments: up to 4 hours in the morning or afternoon
If the assignment includes the lunch-hour from 12:00 to 13:00, you will either be charged the full-day rate or the half-day rate plus one hour overtime.

1 day on duty = 8 hours (7 working hours minus a 1 hour break)
The overtime rate will be added on for assignments that exceed 7 hours. You will be charged for 1-hour's overtime if the interpreter is unable to take a break.

The number of interpreters will vary depending on the meeting format.

For simultaneous interpreting:

Up to 3 hours: Team of two interpreters
More than 3 hours: Team of 3-4 interpreters
For consecutive interpreting:
Up to 3 hours (including breaks): One interpreter
More than 3 hours: Team of two interpreters
