Message from Hiromi Kudo, President and Representative Director of Ten Nine Communications
The twenty-first century is the era of communication, and globalization is gathering momentum in terms of speed, spread and scope. Connections occur on many levels: person-to-person, individual to society, individual to the world, and country-to-country; what counts is the language used to talk, to communicate, to establish understanding.
"Language" is characteristic of its age; it is forever changing, forever evolving. Language is imperfect, but it lies at the heart of the interpretation and translation profession. At Ten Nine Communications, our mission is to turn language into valuable information and, as a company, we are devoted to accomplishing this goal. Interpretation and translation is not simply a matter of transliteration; we make it our business to fathom the thoughts and ideas that underpin the words so as to deliver the right message to its intended recipient. This is the service we pledge to provide.
Our name encapsulates this principle. Ten Nine is notated as 99.99999999. This series of ten nines expresses our quest to deliver communication support that comes as close to perfection as is humanly possible.
We started out with one coordinator and a handful of interpreters. In the six years since, our network has grown to encompass more than 2,200 language professionals. We are dedicated to delivering high quality communication support services to our customers and would ask for your continued support.
